The software
MacUtilityHub is proprietary software, licensed and not sold. The full license is in the app, under About in Settings.
Beta
It is free during the beta and may contain errors. Features can change or be removed. Any future paid plan will be announced beforehand, and no one is charged automatically for continuing to use a free beta version.
Your files
Cleanup can move files to the Trash and, with separate confirmation, remove them permanently. You decide what is confirmed, so review the list shown and keep backups.
System permissions
Some features need permissions you grant in macOS. You can revoke them at any time, and those features then stop working.
Third-party services
AI Chat needs your own OpenRouter key: you pay OpenRouter directly, under its terms, and you are responsible for what you send. AI output can be wrong. ClamAV is an independent program you install yourself, and a scan that finds nothing does not prove a file is safe.
Other companies
MacUtilityHub is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple or the makers of any other software. Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Warranty and liability
To the extent the law allows, the software is provided "as is" and the developer is not liable for lost data or indirect damages. These terms do not limit rights protected by consumer law in your country, or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
